Game date: December 2014
A fiercely fought match for the annual Nariel Road Bowls championship saw the nominally-named New South Wales team narrowly beat Team Victoria by two throws.
Victoria, captained by Mike W was first across the line, but in a controversial decision NSW, headed by Matt D was judged the victor. The scores - finalised after a recount - were NSW 63 throws to Victoria 65 throws
The match saw a number of injuries, with Graham D hit on a head by a bouncing roadbowl, receiving a shock from an electric fence as he tried to recover, then passing a larger shock over the Mike W who had tried to help.
Graham D was judged man of the match for some terrific throws, and also for his spectacular series of injuries and remarkable survival skills which kept the spectators entertained.
